Mieke is the founder and owner of Healthy House Chicago LLC, an Electromagnetic field (EMF) testing company and Illinois’ most experienced EMF consultant. She does this work professionally full time and has tested hundreds of homes so she is familiar with the different sources in different cities and towns throughout the Chicago area and nearby Metro areas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University. She is a Lifetime Member of the Building Biology Institute where she received training from top electrical engineers in the country on how to measure and mitigate the various different kinds of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) that commonly occur in residential homes. She completed 160 credit hours at the Building Biology Institute. The institute is a registered CEU provider and offers the only accredited EMF training program in the United States. Fewer than 100 people in the US have completed IBE 312 (the advanced EMF training course)
She has successfully overcome many health challenges and because of this has been able to dig deeper and figure out which solutions actually work and which ones do not as she is sensitive enough to feel the difference.
